VII CONSENT AGENDA All items below are considered to be routine by City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a Council member requests, in which event, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered with the other items listed in the Regular Agenda.

A. Consider approving the February 19th Pre-Agenda and City Council meeting minutes. (Fugett)

B. Consider granting approval to demolish the garage accessory structure located at 115 North Green Street. (Sigmon)

C. Consider granting permission to Statesville Police Department (SPD) to accept a grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA/JAG) Local Funding - for up to $28,538 for the purpose of supporting SPD to purchase one Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) and approving of Budget Amendment No. 2024-25 . D. Consider approving 2nd reading of AX23-21, an ordinance to annex the property located at 134 Cumberland Road. (Ashley)

E. Consider approving 2nd reading of AX23-22, an ordinance to annex the property located at 174 Beechnut Lane. (Ashley)

F. Consider approving 2nd reading of AX23-23, an ordinance to annex the property located at 3004 Newton Drive, PIN #4724-43-4205 the Timothy Lunsford property. (Ashley)

G. Consider approving a resolution directing the City Clerk to investigate a Petition of Annexation for AX24-01, the Clara

H. Johnson Revocable Family Trust (Airport Park Subdivision) located at 2511 & 2507 Newton Drive, Bristol Rd, Parcel ID #’s 4724-72-2785, 4724-71-3753, 4724-71-7836; Receive the City Clerk’s Certificate of Sufficiency; and Consider approving a resolution fixing the date of March 18, 2024, for a public hearing for the petition for annexation. H. Consider approving 2nd reading of rezoning request ZC24-02 for the properties located on Monroe, Jost, and Elpine Streets, Statesville, NC; Iredell County Tax Map Parcel #’s 4744-41-6560, 4744-41-5382, 4744-41-8554, 4744-41-7281, and 4744-41-8412; to rezone from B-5 (General Business) District to R-5 (High Density Single-Family Residential) District.
