𝑨𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆:

The 30th Masonic District Annual Christmas Parade has been a cherished event, spreading holiday joy and cheer throughout Statesville for many years. This event represents the true spirit of the season, fostering a sense of unity and community. Enjoy a magical afternoon as elaborately decorated floats, vibrant marching bands, local groups, and Santa Claus himself make their way through the historic streets of Statesville.

Proceeds from the parade support the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford and Whitestone, a retirement community that provides continued care to seniors.

𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔:

🎄 Diverse Participants: The parade includes local schools, businesses, community organizations, and Masonic lodges from the 30th District.

🎄 Festive Floats: Witness the creativity and holiday spirit come to life with beautiful, themed floats.

🎄 Musical Ensembles: Enjoy lively performances from marching bands, carolers, and musical groups that will have you tapping your feet and singing along.

🎄 Santa Claus: The parade ends with the arrival of Santa Claus, marking the official start of the holiday season. Don’t miss your chance to wave and share your holiday wishes.

𝑹𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:

🔺No throwing of candy or objects from moving vehicles; walkers may distribute candy by hand.

🔺No stopping the parade to perform dance or cheer routines.

🔺All motorcyclists and passengers must wear helmets properly, no tricks or stunts.

🔺No additional live Santa Clauses in any group; Santa will appear at the end.

🔺 Animal/horse entries must have a designated person to remove any waste.

🔺 Depot Hill is reserved for tractor-trailers and emergency vehicles only; it is not a staging area.

🔺 All entry fees are donations to charity and are non-refundable.

🔺 All entries must be family-friendly and appropriate for a Christmas event.

🔺 Any violations of these rules may result in removal from the parade.
