Meet Chase Bell: Statesville Recreation & Parks Department's New Assistant Athletics and Aquatics Manager

Chase Bell joined the Statesville Recreation & Parks Department as the Assistant Athletics and Aquatics Manager on August 19, 2024, following a successful internship that spanned from late May to mid-August. In his new role, Chase is responsible for assisting in the organization of league teams, arranging schedules and tournaments, creating promotional materials for various events, supervising athletic facilities, and managing the pool during the summer months.

Chase is a recent graduate of NC State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in July 2024. His passion for sports and recreation, rooted in his own experiences growing up, makes this position particularly meaningful. He takes great pride in being involved in the operation and development of the very sports leagues he once participated in as a youth.

Outside of work, Chase enjoys an active lifestyle that includes working out, golfing, and spending quality time with friends.

The enthusiasm for his new role and dedication that Chase brings to the community is evident, making him a valuable addition to the Statesville Recreation & Parks Department team. Welcome Chase!
