You Pick Agriculture Season Begins With Tulips!

As the frost melts away and the sun graces us with its warmth, it's a sure sign that spring has arrived in Statesville, NC. And with spring comes the joyous season of 'You Pick Agriculture' in Iredell County, where families and friends can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and handpick their favorite fruits and flowers.

Howard Family Farm in Harmony, NC

Get ready to welcome the vibrant colors of tulips as Howard Family Farm in Harmony, NC, opens its gates to tulip enthusiasts this weekend! 🌷💐🌷  It’s tulip-picking time at Howard Family Farm, but this hugely popular cut flower—tulips signify perfect love, you know—won’t last long.

Here's everything you need to know:

Admission: $5 per person, $3 per child

Tulip Prices: $1 per stem, $2 per stem with bulb, $15 per dozen (precut and preordered)
Important Notes: No dogs, please. Remember to bring buckets, cutters, and shovels to aid in your tulip-picking adventure.
Opening Hours: Weather dependent, but tentatively scheduled to open on March 16th at 10:00 AM. Open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
